CrossFit has been a huge part of my life since taking my first class in 2017 at Lahaina CrossFit on Maui. I joined The Den in 2019 where CrossFit has continued to be a catalyst for improving my fitness, relieving stress, and bonding with other like-minded people in pursuit of excellence. Fun fact: my husband Joey and I actually met at the Den back in 2019 so I have a whole lot of love for this gym and community! In my professional life, I enjoy buying/selling property as a real estate broker and when I'm not working or working out, you’ll probably find me traveling or enjoying the outdoors with Joey and our dog.
I've always been a highly driven individual so CrossFit has given me an outlet to apply that intensity in a way that yields positive results while engaging in a community that celebrates the amazing things our bodies and minds are capable of through constantly varied, high-intensity, functional movement and nutrition. Over the years I’ve grown to appreciate my body and the freedom fitness has given me to go out and live life with the confidence that I can tackle difficult tasks both mentally and physically. I can wholeheartedly say that I don’t believe there is a better methodology that will benefit your mental and physical health at the rate CrossFit can in just one hour a day. Period.
I’ve been coaching at The Den since 2021 and my favorite part has been encouraging others to invest in their health and challenge themselves to do hard things. There is something so special about helping someone set a personal best or overcome an obstacle they didn't think possible. Coaching has really brought my love for CrossFit full circle from falling in love with the workouts to enjoying the competition to the building of friendships to then becoming a part of other people’s fitness journey and setting them up for success in reaching their goals. Being a coach and an athlete is truly a humbling experience. There is always something to be learned and more skills to develop–-the grind never stops and that's what keeps me motivated to always show up for myself and my people.
